Hi, this is Dre's mom.

it is so dufficult to write this.

On Monday 8/2, our Dr.Dre was attacked by 3 large dogs and killed.

He wanted to go play with them and they just attacked and tore him to pieces.

For those of you who do not have children of their own might understand this, that he was our child. Our baby boy.

we just do not know how to go on.

I'd like to take this opportunity to those of you who's met him and knew him, but also who has never met him, but adored him, thank you. From bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving him.

He was and still is, the best dog that ever lived.

yey, finally warm in i-da-ho! almost feel like summer.

so humans do this thing call barrbeekew. this seem to be a summer ritual for them.
as far as i can tell, this great opportunity for them to drink beer until they can't walk straight and stuff them face with any food they can get them hands on.

on this occasion, dre meet new friend!
her name betty white. she so funny! run like crazy. we ruff house while humans get drunk.

the pack go archaeological dig to mud flats. me human pack member have delusion they find some ancient indian artifacts there so we keep going back.

even though we get shot by rednecks. and get attacked by herd of bigfoot.

dre have fun anyway with bella while me human slaves dig holes.

near by we find this. after much discussion with me academic colleagues,
we conclude this was used as drinking vessel
for some kind of ceremonial ritual by the rednecks.
from the hieroglyph on the side, we can tell that it was probably ceremony to honor stone and light.

dre give mom pink slip last week and hire minimum wage to do

not sure how this going to work out between me and him though.
he take too many smoke break if you ask me.
and sometimes don't even come back from lunch break.
and when dre eat pig ear he look at me crazy.

today we finally get internet back! (the pack moved to new den)
me getting used to this new yard. can't figure out where to poo! but found some pretty cool trail in the neighborhood. dre happy about that.

Strawberry picking 2009

we go strawberry picking last weekend to this place call green bluff, washington.
this place have lots farm with cherry, lavender, apple, peach. pretty much everything to pick. apparently, this fun thing to do for humans. they love this stuff. they got nuts when they go to some stranger's farm and give them money, so they can do some physical labor in extreme heat and suffer heat stroke.

it too hot. forget this. dre not staying. let me go find meself some nice shade to sit & chill.

oh, hello fellow strawberry picker. your pack leader forcing you to do some child labor. i feel for you little girl.

everyone, long time no see. me pack staycation last week.
mom & dad's human friend barbara from nyc visit idaho and spend week as short-term pack member. so we go everywhere with this new pack member.
this me think too much to post all in one time. way too much to type and dre too busy answering fan letters to do all that.
(and afternoon nap - need me beauty rest. it not easy to look the way i do)

this mom & dad's new hobby. puzzle.
they go library and pick one up, do them, and when they finish, take picture and take it back to library. it communal puzzle, so some piece missing too.
me not know what the deal is. dre too cool for that. but they seem to be obsessed with it. mom sometime get up at 6AM on sunday and do puzzle.

oh, no worry, it not like mom & dad have no life or anything.
they actually do have some friends too.

the most expensive KFC dinner in the world

our pack leader choochoo real sick last week, and not eat any food for whole week.
so mom & dad take her to that place with bunch sharp needles.
it turn out she have chicken bone stuck in her throat!
apparently, choochoo got so hungry at night (yes, she is a killer and a pig also), she went outside dumpster to look for more food.
and hit jackpot.
KFC.

mom and dad was happy choochoo got better, but very pissed at her for eating garbage and cost so much money.
dad say to choochoo 'you owe us $400! you better go get job!'

hello everyone. long time no see. it been a month! hope everyone feel good.

last sunday dre went mud flats with bella. (of course human had to come. again.)
this place dried up lake. and you run and dig and do fun on it. as you can see.
then some crazy redneck humans shoot shotgun at us. mom say that is how you get killed in idaho. get shot by redneck.

so we went home after that. we like mud flats but not that much.

this kona. he is a blue heeler. he lives with a human name ben. and he fight with pretty much everyone. everyone think he big bully, but me think that he not such a bad guy deep inside. he can be nice sometime. like last time i saw him, he didn't bite me and he let me mount his neck and that was nice of him, me thinks.
ben say this not true but mom thinks when he come over to our house, he pinch me when no one looking. sometime he does.

this my girlfriend bella. she has great smile. she is airedale mix, me thinks. she's pretty big, but no big deal. i like big girls. she older too. when we meet other girl dogs she try to protect me from them. i think she jealous sometime.

maybe me thinks should write about my pack. we have 2 humans. a cat and me. the cat choochoo is our pack leader, obviously.
she very scary. i think she older than mom & dad (these are the 2 humans in our pack). has no teeth but still deadly lethal. even big dogs scared of her. once i saw she threaten some poor cat and he literally poo on the floor. (guitar whitey - may he rest in peace. and no, choochoo did not kill him).

but sometime she very nice and leave me food scrap & let me sleep beside her. our great leader!

So it snowed yesterday here in Idaho. just a little bit - most of it melted already, but i thought i'd share pictures from last year & show you how much snow we get here. (see how tiny i used to be?)
